PWA to Mobile App Conversion Service Terms and Conditions of Weblabor

Last updated: October 29, 2026

Service Provider: Carlos Eli Escobar Ruiz, individual person, with trade name WebLabor («Weblabor»), RFC EORC9302022E9, with address at Calle 19 #135 corner 32, Colonia Chuburná de Hidalgo, Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico.

Service: for converting and packaging an existing web application that is already a PWA into a mobile application format.

Related Documents: the quote or accepted written agreement, these conditions and Weblabor's General Terms and Conditions.

1. Service object

The service consists solely of converting and packaging an already configured web application as a PWA into a mobile application format, using the tools and processes that Weblabor uses.

As a result, Weblabor delivers to the Client the file, package or compiled version corresponding to the contracted platform.

It is a technical conversion. It is not development of a mobile application, native development, redesign, adaptation, maintenance, support or quality assurance (QA) of the original application.

2. Order of precedence

If two documents contradict each other, they are applied in this order:

  1. The quote or written agreement that the Client accepted, to the extent it expressly regulates.
  2. These conditions.
  3. Weblabor General Terms and Conditions.

What a document does not regulate is governed by the following.

3. Who can hire you

Any person or company that has a web application already configured as a PWA can hire him, whether it was made by Weblabor or anyone else.

The Client declares that it owns the PWA or has the right to use it, convert it and distribute it as an application, including its contents, trademarks, names and images. It is responsible for what the application displays and does.

4. Quote and timeline

The service is quoted. The quote establishes the platform or platforms (for example, Android or iOS), the price, taxes, delivery time, and any special conditions. These conditions do not set prices or timelines.

The delivery deadline stated in the quotation begins when Weblabor has received payment and everything it needs from the Customer, such as the PWA address, icons and graphic resources, accesses and, if necessary, developer accounts from the app stores. Delays due to failure to deliver the above on time are not attributable to Weblabor, as established in the General Terms and Conditions.

5. Prerequisite: an already configured PWA

The web application must be configured as a PWA and have the necessary elements for conversion.

Creating, configuring, modifying or correcting the PWA is an independent service and is not included, unless the quote expressly states otherwise. If Weblabor sees that the PWA does not meet the requirements to convert it, it informs the Client and is not obligated to convert it.

6. Conversion of what already exists

The conversion uses the PWA in the state it is in when the service is performed.

Weblabor does not modify the code, design, functions, content, images, logos, icons, colors, names, manifest, graphic resources, or other elements of the PWA as part of this service.

The icons, images, and resources needed to generate the application are those already in the PWA or those delivered by the Client for the process. Any modification that is needed or requested must be done beforehand or contracted separately.

7. How the resulting application works

The conversion does not convert the web application into a native application or change how it works. The resulting application still depends on the web application, its servers, services, and connections.

Subscribing to the service does not mean that the application will work without an Internet connection. What works without an Internet connection depends only on what the original PWA already has implemented.

8. Compatibility and testing

The service does not include functionality testing, QA, or mobile device compatibility testing.

Weblabor is not obligated to test the application on different brands, models, screens, Android or iOS versions, browsers, tablets, or other devices, present or future.

The conversion also does not certify that all web application functions behave the same in a browser, on Android, on iOS, or in any other environment.

9. Differences between platforms

Operating systems, browsers, and devices can impose restrictions or function differently than the web application. An incompatibility, restriction, or particular behavior that comes from the operating system, browser, device, version, permissions, or technologies of the original application is not a defect in the conversion service.

If resolving an incompatibility requires changing the PWA's code, design, configuration, or features, that change is not included and can be quoted separately.

10. Reports and help not included

The Client may notify Weblabor of behaviors or incompatibilities detected later in the resulting application. Weblabor may use those reports to improve its tools, processes or services, but receiving or analyzing a report does not obligate it to correct, provide support, develop, update or resolve anything within this service.

Any intervention to diagnose, correct, or adapt the application may require hiring a separate service.

11. Publishing to stores

The conversion does not include publishing, launching, managing, or maintaining the application in app stores, such as Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or other distribution platforms. That is a separate service, with its own price, term, and conditions.

Stores request developer accounts, fees, reviews, and their own policies, which belong to the Customer and each store. Store fees and costs are not included and are paid by the Customer. A store rejecting, removing, or suspending an application is not a breach of Weblabor.

12. Updates and new conversions

The service converts the PWA version that exists when the work is done.

Does not include subsequent conversions, new builds, package updates, changes due to future PWA modifications, updates requested by operating systems or app stores, or regenerations, unless expressly contracted.

13. Delivery and End of Service

The service is fulfilled when Weblabor performs the conversion and makes the resulting file, package, or compiled version available to the Client.

From that delivery onwards, maintenance, support, monitoring, post-delivery testing, correction of the original application, or adaptation to specific devices or operating systems are no longer included. Any additional services must be included in the quote or contracted separately.

14. Payment

The service is paid in advance, for the amount and in the form specified in the quote, through the payment method indicated by Weblabor. A payment is considered completed when Weblabor confirms that it received the funds, as established in the General Terms and Conditions. Weblabor does not make automatic charges.

15. Cancellation

If the Client cancels, payments made will not be refunded for that reason alone. Any refund, if applicable, depends on the work already completed and what is established in the quote, the General Terms and Conditions, and the law, without prejudice to the rights that the law does not allow to exclude. Once the package is delivered, there is no refund for a change of mind.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Weblabor is not responsible for the functioning of the original PWA, for what occurs in the application stores, for the content of the application, or for commercial results. This does not exclude what the law does not permit to exclude, such as fraud or the inalienable rights of consumers.

17. Personal data

Weblabor processes the personal data it receives to provide this service in accordance with its Privacy Notice, published on the "Legal" page of weblabor.mx.

If the Client Application collects data from its users, the Client is responsible for that processing and for having its own privacy notice, including the one required by the stores.

18. Acceptance, Notices, and Applicable Law

The Client accepts these conditions when hiring or paying for the service, or when accepting a quote that mentions them.

Weblabor's notices to the Client are sent to the Client's registered email address or through Weblabor's official support channel. Client notices to Weblabor are made through Weblabor's official support channels or to the service provider's address indicated above.

Weblabor may update these terms and conditions. Changes are published on this page with their "Last updated" date and notice is sent to the Client's registered email at least five business days before they take effect. They do not affect payments already made or services already contracted and in progress, unless the Client accepts them.

These conditions are governed by the laws of Mexico. For their interpretation and compliance, the parties submit to the competent courts of Mérida, Yucatán, unless the law grants the Client another jurisdiction that cannot be waived.
