Your payments

See the transfers you have received and the payments the company still owes you.

Two pages in the side menu cover the money between you and the company. Payments lists the transfers already made to you. Pending payments lists what has been released or scheduled for you but not paid yet. This guide explains both.

Open your payments

Choose Payments in the My panel group of the side menu. It appears once at least one transfer has been made to you. If you can see finances, it is always there, but the page still lists only the transfers made to you: the company's own incomes and expenses are in Incomes and expenses.

The page, titled Payments, opens on the transfers from the last month. Change Date From and Date To under FILTER RESULTS to look at another period; the list updates as soon as you pick a date. The dates filter by the date in the Payment Date column, and both days are included. If you clear one of them, only the other applies.

The newest transfers come first, 15 to a page; use the page links below the list to see older ones. The list includes the transfers still waiting to be confirmed against the bank, not only the confirmed ones. When no transfer falls in the period, the page says No data.

If you take part in the Slicing Pie, two tabs appear above the dates: Pagos en Efectivo lists the transfers paid in money, and Slicing Pie lists the ones recorded in the Slicing Pie accounts. See Slicing Pie.

Read a transfer

Each row is one transfer, with its Payment Date, its Total and its Transfer type:

  • Income is money the company sent to you.
  • Expense is money that went from you to the company, such as a loan repayment. Its amount shows with a minus sign.

Click the arrow at the end of a row to see what the transfer paid. The lines are in the order they were paid. Each line shows the date it was paid, what it was for (a sprint, a task, a salary, a loan and so on), its notes and its amount. Click See to open that line on its own page, with its Project, Project Sprint, Category, Pay Total, Programmed Date, Payment Date, Status and Notes.

See what is still pending

Choose Pending payments in the My panel group. It appears while you have something unpaid: a scheduled payment in your name, or tracked time that has been approved and not paid yet.

The page, titled Pending payments, shows at the top the Total pending and how much of it is Task payments, Sprint payments, Hourly payments and Other payments.

Below, the pending items are grouped by project. The project with the highest Project total comes first; inside each project, the items pending the longest come first. Each project shows how many pending payments it has, its Project total and its Oldest pending, in days. Each item shows its Type, its Detail, its Sprint, the day it was Released, its Scheduled payment date, its Days pending and its Total.

Days pending count from the scheduled date, or from the day it was released when there is no scheduled date. An item scheduled for a date that has not arrived shows 0 days.

When nothing is pending, the page says No pending payments.

Look at one pending item

  1. Click View at the end of the item.
  2. The window shows the Payment total, what is Already paid, the Pending balance and what is Released unpaid, with the Released, Scheduled payment and Days pending dates.
  3. The table below lists each part of the payment with its Concept, Status, Date and Amount. A payment split into several instalments shows one line per instalment, and the ones already paid say when.
  4. Click Open full detail to go to where the payment comes from, or Close to go back. Where it takes you depends on the Type:
    • Task payments: the times of that task, explained in Track your time.
    • Sprint payments: your tasks, in Tasks. That page opens only while you are a member, paid per hour, per task or per sprint, of at least one active project; otherwise it refuses to open.
    • Hourly payments: the times of the task the time was tracked on, or your tasks when it was tracked without a task.
    • Other payments: the payment's own page, with the same fields as a line of a transfer. Since the payment is not part of a transfer yet, that page opens only if you can see finances; anyone else is told it does not exist.

This page only shows what is owed to you. It does not pay anything: payments are made by the people who manage finances, and once one is paid it moves to Payments. To see how approved time becomes a payment, read Track your time.
