Organization chart draws the company as a chart: each department, who leads it and who works in it. The chart is built from the departments and from the roles people hold, so keeping Departments up to date is what keeps the chart right. This guide shows both.
Open the org chart
Choose Organization chart in the Weblabor group of the side menu. Everyone with an account in the panel can see it.
Each department is a box with its name, the role that leads it and, when someone holds that role, the leader's name and email. Under each department you see the people who work in it, each marked Colaborador with their email and their role.
- The leader is the first person who holds the department's role, whether or not their account is still active. When several people hold that role, only that first one is shown.
- A person who leads more than one department appears as leader only in the first one; the other departments show their role with no leader's name.
- Only active people appear as collaborators.
- Each collaborator appears once, under the department of their first role that belongs to a department. A person who leads that department appears as its leader, not again as a collaborator.
- A department with no parent appears at the top level.
The chart is read-only: you cannot edit, search or open anyone's details from it.
Manage departments
Departments is in the Operation group of the side menu. You see it only if you have been given access to departments.
The list shows each department's ID, Name, Role, the Department it belongs to and how many Services it has.
To add one:
- Click Create Department.
- Type its Name.
- Choose the Role that leads it. The first person who holds that role is shown as the department's leader in the chart.
- If it sits inside another department, choose that one in Department. Leave it empty for a top-level department.
- Click Add Department.
Open a department to edit it or delete it. Changes show up in Organization chart the next time you open it.
Work schedules
Schedules keeps the days and hours each person works. It has no entry in the side menu: it is opened from a person's record by whoever manages people's accounts.
A schedule has the Días it covers, a Hora de inicio and a Hora de término. When you create one you can choose several days at once, and one schedule is saved for each day. The list is filtered by User, starting with you.
A schedule is refused with El horario no es correcto. when it ends before it starts or at the same time, and with Horario no disponible para el día when it overlaps another schedule of the same person on that day. That message ends with the number of the day: 0 for Sunday, 1 for Monday, and so on up to 6 for Saturday.
