Documents shows the documents the team keeps about Weblabor Admin — roles, guides, decisions, plans and findings — so you can read them without leaving the panel. They are written and updated elsewhere; this page only shows them, so there is nothing to edit, create or delete here.
Open the documents
Choose Documents in the Weblabor group of the side menu. Everyone with an account in the panel can open it.
On a wide screen the list of documents sits on the left and the open document on the right. On a phone the list is hidden: tap Show the document list to see it, and Hide the document list to put it away again.
Find a document
- The list is a tree of folders. Tap a folder to open or close it; the folder that holds the document you are reading opens on its own.
- Numbered plans show their number before the title.
- Type in Search by title or path to keep only the documents whose title or folder matches. If nothing matches, the list says No document matches your search.
When you open Documents without choosing one, the starting document of the project opens: its index, its README, its vision or its findings, in that order. If the project has none of them, the page says so and asks you to choose a document from the list.
Read and share a document
Choose a document to read it, with its headings, lists, tables and links. The address in your browser changes to that document, so you can copy it and send it to someone: the link opens the same document with the list showing where it is.
- A link to another document of the project opens that document on this same page.
- A link to another website opens in a new tab.
Get the latest version
Documents are kept for a few minutes so the page opens quickly. To see a change that was made just now, choose Refresh: the list and the open document are read again.
When something is wrong
- There are no documents yet: the project has no documents to show.
- The document was not found: the document you asked for no longer exists, or the link was wrong. Choose another one from the list.
- The connection is not configured, or the token is refused: the page cannot read the documents until an administrator sets it up.
- Not available right now: the documents cannot be reached at the moment. Try again in a few minutes. If a saved copy exists, it is shown with a notice that it may be out of date.
